If you have an LG, Vizio, Sony, Insignia, Sanyo, Bose Solo, or Samsung soundbar, the below remote codes will program your remote. These remote codes are verified to work with Xfinity, Comcast, Verizon FiOS, DirecTV, Uverse, Time Warner, Brighthouse, DISH, and most Generic Universal Remote Controls. NOTE: If you are having issues programming your remote to work with your Sound Bar, use the “AUX” button on your remote for controlling the sound bar.
PLEASE NOTE: If no remote codes work, get a Harmony 350 universal remote to control all your devices including the sound bar.

To program your remote control to a BOSE Solo Sound Bar, use the following codes:
For programming with Uverse:
Press (at same time) ATT/OK – 955 – Enter
The volume control will then follow the mode button.
For programming with DirecTV:
Slide switch to AV1 or AV2
1. Press and hold MUTE and SELECT (LED flashes twice)
2. Enter the 4 or 5 digit code from above.
After each code, try using the VOL UP and see if VOL works.
If so, slide switch to AV1 or AV2
1. Press and hold MUTE and SELECT (LED flash 2x)
2. 993 then press SELECT
NOTE: Be sure your Bose is set to accept the IR codes.

If using Comcast remote and above codes do not work, try Code Search:
Turn on your sound bar.
Press Aux once on remote.
Then press and hold Setup until the key blinks 2x, then release Setup.
Enter 9 – 9 – 3.
The Aux key will blink 2x.
Press Power and aim the remote control at the sound bar and press CH + one or more times until the sound bar turns off.
Press Setup once to lock in the code.
The Aux key will blink twice.
To search for the codes of another device, repeat steps 1 to 5, but substitute the mode key for the device you are searching for.
SIDE NOTE: In search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code first.

For Comcast remote, follow the Unlock/Lock directions using the 993 code to make the AUX Volume mode control the sound bar.
Make sure you unlock the volume with the 993 code following the instructions.
The Comcast remote will then control the volume via the sound bar and not the TV.

When connecting the Sound Bar, you can plug your soundbar directly into the Cable box, SAT box, or TV. Different programming methods may be needed depending on how your soundbar is connected.
