ON MOST REMOTES:
1. Turn on the TV.
2. Press and hold the TV and SEL buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The button will light.
3. With the button lit, point the remote at the TV and enter the TV’s 3, 4, or 5 digit code.
4. Verify by pressing the VOLUME + button. This should turn the TV VOLUME up.
5. Press the TV button to store the 3, 4, or 5 digit code. The button will blink twice to confirm the code is stored.

0178 work for my basic Element tv. Just switched the volume buttons
All that works is the volume down button the remote never lights up it has brand new batteries and TV is turning on but only says no signal how do I fix?

I have an Element 55″ UHD 4K TV. The streaming service work perfectly,both sound and picture. My cable channels flip through, have a perfect picture but no audio. I have a Samsung HD cable box with remote. Do I have to program the cable box remote with codes to get audio? Thanks.
Use auto-search people! Many of the comments are “I can’t find the code for my Element TV” etc. etc.. One guy even asked if he should just throw away his TV and get a new one! Every universal remote on the market has an auto-search function that will literally cycle through every code combination it can possibly handle so if you can not manually enter the code for your Element TV then I suggest having the remote program itself automatically.

Code 5361 worked for me ,it just switched up my volume n channel controls. Ch. Up n down now are for volume up n down n vice versa

I have an ” onn ” universal remote, my children broke both the pover button on television in addition to the brand “Element” remote. I have a Charter remote and need to program it to an older Element TV.
Can’t get my Fios P265v5 remote but I can’t program it for my Element TV. Code 110 doesn’t work.

Element TV and others recommend 11864, 11687, 12260, 10178, and 0060.
None work.
By doing an engineering analysis, some 13xxx codes are found in controllers that are not listed for any TVs.
13907, 13579, and 13559 enable Vol, Mute, TV Input, and power to talk to an Element TV.
However a Select TV Input screen needs a movement to select another input.
No key would move that selection.
